Your Revolution in 3D Production

Local. Sovereign. Unstoppable.

DFX SplatCore — Coming Soon

1. The New Era of 3D Visualization

Today, switching from static 2D images to interactive 3D assets is no longer just a trend — it's an economic necessity. While 2D photography becomes increasingly interchangeable through AI, 3D is the "safe haven" for professionals: real geometry, real materials, and unfiltered precision.

DFX SplatCore is a desktop application for Windows. With it, you can turn photos or a video into a photorealistic 3D model and deliver it for the web. It's like Lightroom for 3D Gaussian Splats. The sentence that sums it up: 3D for everyone, no IT degree required. The application guides you through a workflow you'd otherwise have to piece together from five separate tools — and tells you at every step where you stand and what comes next.

The core promise for your production

100% local

There's no cloud requirement, no subscription, and no transfer of client material. You only need the internet for setup — after that, everything runs offline, including the SEO & GEO Center.

No cloud trap

Your data, your knowledge, and your models always stay safely on your system.

No subscription lock-in

If you buy a real tool, you're allowed to use it. You don't need a separate license to do so.

Zero token costs

Scale your output to thousands of products without per-unit costs eating into your margin.

2. It Delivers What It Promises — And Says So When It Can't

Classic photogrammetry pipelines are a real problem today. They're technically top-of-the-line, but fragile in production. If you move to the cloud instead, you're trading away data sovereignty and financial predictability to get there.

The pain points you leave behind with DFX SplatCore

Financial risk

Token-based models can lead to uncontrollable five-figure costs if a project succeeds.

Data leakage

Sensitive image material is often used as AI training data on third-party servers, without users being asked.

Workflow dependency

Once a subscription ends, you lose access to your own working environment.

System instability

Memory issues or crashes can bring the entire computer to a standstill.

DFX SplatCore solves this with strict process isolation: after every model, the inference subprocess is fully terminated, and VRAM and RAM are released 100%. Graphics memory is calculated before the run — not reported mid-run as a crash.

And there's one more thing that makes the difference: no silent failure. Every process tells you its plan up front, reports every step, and names every abort. What's measured is shown — what isn't measured isn't claimed. If DFX SplatCore detects a fisheye lens or an action cam, for example, it tells you — instead of just calculating incorrectly. When it comes to reflective or transparent surfaces, we have to tell you honestly that the result isn't (yet) as reliable as we'd like. We won't promise you a miracle that doesn't exist.

3. Precision Instead of Claims

DFX SplatCore trains with LichtFeld Studio as a standalone program and writes standard 3DGS in the open Inria PLY format. That's not some academic niche format — it's something that opens in third-party viewers and processes cleanly into mesh and texture.

What's already checked on import

Video: Frame selection based on measured camera motion, not a fixed interval — a 56-second video yields around 120 frames instead of 843.

Individual images & RAW: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .webp as well as common RAW formats (.orf, .cr2, .cr3, .nef, .nrw, and more) — including from subfolders, without files of the same name overwriting each other.

Automatic checks: Camera shake, sharpness, tripod vs. handheld, camera recognition (Motion Guard) — plus AI-based background removal (u2net) and a mask-quality check.

Your strategic advantage: You get a result that's immediately production-ready — as PLY for analysis in third-party viewers, or as GLB with mesh and texture in multiple detail levels for standard software like Blender.

4. Your Input Paths: Photo, Series, or Video

Not every object needs the same amount of effort. DFX SplatCore automatically chooses the computation path based on how many images you have — not in rigid packages.

1 image

A quick draft from a single image — perfect for rapid prototyping and getting a first impression.

2–12 images

For most products and smaller objects, a compact series is enough for a solid result.

13+ images / video

The scientific standard for museums, architecture, and anywhere maximum precision is required.

5. Market Fields: Where DFX SplatCore Becomes a Game-Changer for You

Product photography

If you know your way around 2D, you can turn that expertise into a premium 3D product. Offer your clients interactive assets and win business in a space generative AI can't serve.

E-commerce

You can boost your conversion rate and cut returns. Make your catalog interactive — computed locally, with no API fees.

Museums & archaeology

Digitize cultural heritage safely and lawfully. Sensitive scans stay on your own network, protected from cloud risks and foreign jurisdictions.

Game development & VFX

Take the direct route for asset creation. Turn concept art into 3D models for your engine.

Architecture

Reconstruct complex facades and structures while conserving resources. Create virtual sets with maximum visual identity.

6. Export: Seamlessly Into Your Workflow

DFX SplatCore isn't a closed cage. We consistently rely on open formats:

.glb

With mesh and texture, multiple detail levels — the standard for web, engines (Unreal, Unity), and DCC tools like Blender.

.ply

Standard 3DGS in the open Inria format, ready to open in third-party viewers.

For agencies and series work, there's overnight batch processing — several projects run one after another, without you having to start each one individually.

7. Orbit: Your 3D Presentation

A finished model is only half the job — it also has to be seen. DFX Orbit turns every model into its own standalone, interactive webpage. It comes with hotspots, image galleries with zoom and audio guide, a before/after comparison, connection lines, and fixed camera paths.

The exported presentation runs entirely on its own and needs no internet connection — whether at a trade show, in a museum, or on a Raspberry Pi. No server, no account, no cloud requirement.

8. SEO & GEO Center: So Search Engines and AI Can Find You

3D content is inherently hard for search engines and AI bots to read. The SEO & GEO Center generates local description texts, JSON-LD, and a Semantic Shadow Layer for every Orbit presentation. That way your model becomes visible not just to people, but to Google & co. too. Not a single feature in the entire program needs an internet connection for this — which fits perfectly with the core promise: 100% local, without exception.
